Initiated into Eardulph Lodge No.6645 in 2008, WM in 2016. Member of the Durham Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge until promoted to PPSGD in 2024. Loves good beer and great football, season ticket holder at Newcastle United since the 1980’s. Always hopeful we might win something one day – Howay the Lads!!!

Initiated into Eardulph Lodge 6645 in 2010, Worshipful Master in 2017 also Secretary of Eardulph Lodge since 2019. Active in arranging events to support the MCF. Having a long history of perfecting the consumption of craft ales, I’ve also dabbled in brewing beer using a Grain father, Gambrinus Lodge is the perfect next step!

I joined Lumley Lodge 5807 in 2009, taking the chair in 2023 and where I met several future Gambrinus members, also as WM I had the privilege of signing the petition for Gambrinus Lodge. Outside of Freemasonry I work in business consulting, I have a keen interest in board games and tabletop wargames as well as beer – if I can combine the two… even better!

Initiated in 2009, Moving steadily up ‘the ladder’ and the chair of the lodge in 2019 and due to lockdown remained in the chair for another 2 years after which I received my first appointment to PPGStwd. Married to Lorraine running our own events business.

An ardent Australophile, honorary Queenslander, LGBTQ+ ally and advocate for military veterans. Lover of real ale, whisky, Chinese food and Star Trek.

Initiated into Freemasonry in 2012 when I joining Lumley Lodge 5807. Former soldier in the Royal Engineers, retired Police Sgt in both the Thames Valley and Northumbria Police forces.

I was initiated into The Bewick Lodge No.5988 in 2013, due to my job meaning I spend a lot of time in West Cumbria I joined Copeland Lodge No.4607 2017, honoured to take the chair in The Bewick Lodge in 2023, and received my first Provincial appointment as PPGStwd in 2024.

Andy left Essex aged 18 and travelled north to undertake missionary work – teaching the natives how to speak English. Initiated into Sunderland Lodge 4114 in 1999 becoming WM in 2005 & 2006. Founding member of the Durham Provincial Grand Steward Lodge and Acting PrAGDC in 2012. Moved Lumley Lodge 5807 in 2015, he became WM in 2017. Andy is married to Louise and they have one son, Matthew.

Member of the Durham Freemasons Armed Forces Network. Also a Hartlepool United supporter for my sins. I’m a Real Ale enthusiast, but by my own admission a novice!

I started out on my Masonic career in Lumley Lodge 5807 and I’m currently a member of the Spirit of Rugby Lodge 9910. Played rugby for over 30 years, now an avid golfer.

Member of Heugh Lodge No 7773 in Hartlepool, and also Ernest Dixon Lodge No 7856 in Sunderland. Committee Member of Hartlepool Old Boys Rugby Club. Very happily retired Firefighter and that is giving me every opportunity to indulge in my love of Cruising as well as Real Ales………… but not necessarily in that order!

Introduced to Freemasonry by ex-forces personnel and joined Beamish Temple Lodge, currently Senior Warden and looking forward to being the first Master Mason to take chair of Beamish Temple Lodge. Joined the Army from leaving school, spent 9 years as an Army Commando serving in various countries around the world. Now retired and enjoying holidays.

I’ve been a Mason for 6 years and currently SW of Eardulph No. 6645, I’m looking forward to taking the office of Charity Steward in this Lodge, already looking for ways to boost the charity coffers whilst having some fun with the brethren whilst doing so! Married to Vicky for 25 years and we have two kids. Professionally I’m an IT Manager.

Initiated into Lodge of Progress on 2002, becoming WM in 2009. WM 5 times in a number of Lodges. Currently also a member of Lodge of Sportsmen 9823 in the Province of Northumberland and Spirit of Rugby 9910 in Durham. I am well known as a petrol head who does an annual trip to the place all petrol heads should visit at least once…. the Nürburgring.

Joined Wear Valley Lodge 1121 in 2007 taking the chair as Worshipful Master in 2016. Honoured by Provincial Grand Lodge in 2023 and appointed to Acting Asst Grand Director of Ceremonies, promoted in 2024 to Past Grand Sword Bearer. Also in the Royal Arch, Knights Templar & Red Cross of Constantine. Outside of Masonry I can be found at my running club or enjoying real ale with my friends.

Maintenance engineer, born in Gateshead and now residing in Ouston, Chester le Street, priorities Family, Football, Beer, not necessarily in that order. A member of Ryton St Marys 6550 and St Marys 4864, I have been in the craft 37 years and I am a classic “knife and fork mason”.

Paul has been a Free Mason for 32 years at St Mary’s Lodge 4684 Gateshead, where he is currently the Benevolence Representative. Paul is MD for several businesses in the Northeast ranging from Computer software to Fire Sprinklers. He is an active member of his local community and is Chairman of the board for Ouston Community Centre in Durham.

Initiated into my Regimental Lodge, London Scottish Rifles Lodge, No. 2310 in 2016. Member of Loyalty and Remembrance Lodge, No. 5842, Province of West Kent, and my old school lodge, Old Barnardian Lodge, No. 9358, Presently the Membership Officer, Pubs Protection Officer and Joint Social Media Officer for CAMRA Bexley Branch.

Initiated in 2001 in Eardulph Lodge. Master of the Lodge in 2007 and again in 2015. First Provincial appointment in 2014 to Acting Junior Grand Warden then promoted to PPSGW in 2015. Honoured by UGLE in 2021 with the rank of PAGDC. Headed up the Provincial Membership Team for 7 years until 2023.

Initiated into Lumley Lodge No 5807 with his Brother by their Father in November 1991. Progressed to be WM in 2002. Promoted to PPJGW in 2018. VSO for Eslington Lodge No 4623 & the Bewick Lodge No 5988. Currently JD and Charity Steward of Lumley Lodge.

Initiated into The Bewick Lodge No. 5988 in 2013, but due to overseas work commitments wasn't able to progress up 'the ladder' until more recently, currently SW of The Bewick Lodge where I hope to take the chair in 2025. Avid craft ale fan and looking forward to some memorable times as part of Gambrinus!

Initiated into Eardulph Lodge 6645 in 2005 following in my father’s footsteps, later found out I was the 4th generation of my family to join Masonry in Chester-le-Street. I became Master of the Lodge in 2010. Promoted in Provincial Grand Lodge as acting Junior Deacon in 2017. Also active in Chapter, Royal Ark Mariners, Knights Templar and in the Mark Degree I was appointed to Grand Rank in 2023.

Joined Wear Valley Lodge in 2005 and in the following years joined 7 other orders (with more to follow!). I am a member of the DC team in the Provincial Grand Stewards lodge. Outside of Masonry I have many interests included beer (obviously!), wargaming, Dungeons & Dragons. Currently employed as the Head of R&D technology is also a passion of mine.

Joined the Lodge of Progress 8259 in 2018, one of the co-leads for Cornerstone covering the Northwest of the Province. Outside of Masonry I do voluntary work with young people at Beamish museum, parish councillor for Pelton parish Council and active within the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, always out and about with them on expeditions.

Initiated into Strathearn Lodge No.4965 in 1996. Have been the Treasurer of my mother lodge for 18 years. I’m never far from a Spreadsheet. Also a member of Nevill Lodge of Installed Masters No.9441. I‘m an Electrical Engineer in Oil & Gas married to Kathryn, we live in Gateshead. Kathryn like myself thinks a special interest lodge combining my love of Real Ales and Freemasonry is just perfect!

I have been a Freemason for 6 years in St Mary’s Lodge 4684 Gateshead. Outside of Freemasonry I’m the Operations Director at NPHS Fire Sprinklers. Also is a keen fisherman and a boxing enthusiast.

Joined Cestria Lodge in 1996, Treasurer of the Lodge since 2015. In June 2024, I was honoured as Past Provincial Grand Pursuivant. 80 years old retired in 2008 after 10 years as a Business Adviser. Previously worked in General and R&D management positions in heavy engineering. I still enjoy playing golf and walking, but not too far nowadays!
